Well, this morning we had our second measurable snow, but still nothing significant. Woke up to about two and a half inches. It provided me with a wonderful drive to work this morning. Everything looked freshly white washed, and as I passed over one of my favorite spots, I had to stop briefly to take a few photos. I love how the snow has softly kissed the trees, and nicely outlined the edges of the stream. Everything was so quiet and peaceful. Till this afternoon, it was almost all gone.
Yep...I see what you mean, now...haha! Looks very familiar :) I just snapped a few pics out my door before leaving for school this morning. Your favorite spot looks very pretty with a snow covering!
Beautifully peaceful image Rick....a fresh coat of snow always adds such a pristine freshness to an otherwise drab winter landscape! Love everything about this one.
Rick this is fantastic! I typically only do b&w conversions on images that have an intriguing or moody sort of tone to them - and this one sure does. It makes me curious about what is further down that creek.
What a beautiful capture, Rick! It's snowing here and I'm thinking about venturing down to the river to see if I can capture a quintessential winter shot similar to this ... just lovely!
BEAUTIFUL shot!!!
