This is a favorite scene of mine. I pass it every day on my way to work, and especially in the winter time when it snows, it creates an even more beautiful visual. The top portion of the little barn is all you can see from the road, and there is just something about this view that gives me the feeling of hope. In my mind I can imagine walking a long distance in the cold, growing more and more weary, and chilled to the bone, finally seeing a shelter just over the hilltop, hoping it is warm. Perhaps being lost, and finally, feeling the hope of safety.
