Hope is one of those words that we use frequently, and often times without thought of the impact it can have in someone's life. For the child who still believes in the magic of Christmas and Easter, "Hope" fills their hearts with joy and anticipation. For the parent who is dealing with an ailing child, "Hope" offers them something to hold onto. It motivates them to keep going, to keep holding on. What about the really difficult times in life? When the reality of a broken relationship, a disaster, or even death hits home, does the gift of "Hope" still hold as much value? I would say yes, and even more so. Those are the times it is most important. You may have no idea where or how to find that gift of "Hope" but it will come from somewhere, in time. That's what's nice about a gift. It comes when it is least expected. Hang on. "Hope" is on its way.
Lovely image and sentiment. I'm afraid I sometimes struggle with the ideology behind hope...especially when the person one is trying to console has no where to look for that hope on their own.
how do you do it? you always seem to photograph an ordinary everyday object and find perfect words to put with it which turns the whole thing into a story! Wonderful again :D
Jesus gives me hope - can't imagine my life without Him.
