An Early Evening Sun

I stopped at this creek on the way home, and I was pleased with the sun light as it came through the trees and glistened on the thawing ice. Just knowing that everything is beginning to thaw as Spring makes it way to our area makes me feel good. I shot into the sun light and I thought it produced a nice look even though it is a bit silhouetted. I am so ready for Spring.

I actually like the silhouette effect,plus the glint of the sun on the water. "Come spring..." as my friend used to say when we were in Lancaster. Still the watchword apparently.
