Well, the warm weather last week really spoiled us. Ever since the 70 degree temps of last Friday, we have been eagerly awaiting Spring's arrival. Not quite yet we were informed. Since last evening and early this morning, we received an additional 5 inches of snow. I know it is not really that bad, especially when I read about and see some of the photos of some of our friends here on 365, and the snow they are gettinjg. I am not complaining, really. I am just ready for the cold to be over. Everything is brown, but the fresh snow gave everything a nice makeover, and it really was quite beautiful. I always liked how the trees look when they are coated with snow like this. Another cold day tomorrow, but then it is supposed to warm up again.
Really beautiful winter shot. We are in the same boat here....totally springlike on Friday and flash-freeze on Saturday. Today started out at -25 and ended up at -1 ! Go figure! I am ready for spring weather!
Lovely picture! I always like how you frame them, too. I haven't put a picture up yet today (well, the 22nd) so I may just have to go with more snow pictures.....no shortage of those! Well, I will remember this year for the snow, that's for sure.
Nice photo. Damn those false hopes. While you are hoping for the warmer weather, I'm wishing ours to stay. I'm not ready for Autumn and most definitely NOT ready for Winter. I need to move where it's Summer all year round!!
beautiful photo and well put. . . we are searching for any signs of spring we can find here in MA. I have a question if you don't mind. . . what lens do you use? I was looking through your pictures and they are all amazing, I was clicking into the EXIF to try and figure it out (I just worked some extra spending $$ into the budget and I am on the look for a new lens :) )
It is with sadness that I write this message. Due to one or more misinformed, spiteful, immature individual(s), I will no longer be posting (and will be deleting) photos on my account. Profiles are being created on this site and the person(s) responsible continue(s) to post unkind, thoughtless, ridiculous comments directed toward me on a personal level. I will never understand the mindset of people who choose to behave this way, especially those who will believe/create/say things about a person they do not even know. I apologize for posting this on your photo comments, but I could think of no other way to get a message to my ‘followers’. Posting a new photo for the day with this information would not work, since one of the fake profiles is actually still ‘following’ me. I just wanted to say I am thankful for all I have learned on this site from so many. Thank you for your comments, suggestions and support. I am glad for the opportunity to have gotten to ‘know you’ through your photos and words. What a great bunch of people in this community!
