This church near my home really appears to be "on fire" for the Lord...(To clarify, the truck was just parked at the stop sign. they were not there on a fire call) Hey, it was a busy day to day, didn't get home until late, had things to do tonight and just got back home now. On my way home I knew it would be rough getting my photo in for today, so when I saw this truck parked in front of this nearby church, I thought, yes, this is going to be my photo for today. Not a great photo, but hey, that is all I had time for today.
I just did a scan of followers and discovered I had a whole bunch who had not been active in the last 28 days (the site called them zombies") SOme of thse folks had actually gotten to 90% of the project and quit. I can't imagine getting that close and not completing but that's just me. I bring this up to point out you are doing great to take your membership so seriously nd make sure you get a shot posted every day.
@allie912 Allison, thanks for the feedback. When I first started this project I didn't realize what I was getting into. It has been a lot of fun, and I reealize I spend way too much time on here, but I make it a point to comment on everyone that appears on my page, and though the comments may not be lengthy, I still view and comment on each one. I can't believe in June it will be a year already. I am not sure I will be able to devote as much time another year.
True...I realize now that I took alot of the things around me for granted before I started this project. I really do pay more attention now to what's going on around me!
Ah, you know what, we don't have to get crazy to take a very good photo everyday, sometimes life is just the way it is and we don't have time, and that is ok.
I like the photo, the blue is beautiful
Rick I'm glad you took a quick shot and posted it. I love your lengthy and thought- out pics too, but sometimes I think I will never reach that level of expertise with the limited camera I own. A shot like this says- just keep your eyes open. There's lots of fun things to photograph on the run. It's a good balance between those insightful posts you usually do and a little snapshot of your daily life.
The light blue sky against the light building are great complementary colors. Plus my son loves any picture with a truck in it. Maybe when the weather turns we will take pictures of trucks just for him. See you inspired me today with your picture!
.... or is that refuge? :)
fire but I hope they are on fire spiritually
for the Lord.
