Fumed

I know there's not much we can do about it, and I know prices are higher elsewhere, but it is still quite frightening to think how high the prices will go before the end of the year.
Agreed. The rising prices are quite nerve wracking.

Yikes to the content, and very nice shot.
March 10th, 2011
I have been thinking of taking a photo of our pump prices. I think we are lower than the rest of Canada but it's hard to swallow when you pay $1.139 per litre.
March 10th, 2011
GREAT theme shot Rick but definitely a frightening sign of the times. These gas prices are killing me and I only paid $3.39/gallon this afternoon.
March 10th, 2011
This is a good idea for the theme as it shows the unfortunate signs of the times.
March 10th, 2011
Amen!
March 10th, 2011
Scary. We are slowly climbing prices in our small town and its just down right scary. Great theme shot.
March 10th, 2011
indeed, it is scary. good shot.
March 10th, 2011
Things are not looking good! Better get me a bike!
March 10th, 2011
Yeah, scary
March 10th, 2011
Sue
thats a sign of the times too. I fear its not the only necessity going up in price...
March 10th, 2011
Cheaper than here. :( And we're headed to Florida (driving) in two weeks. Sigh. Maybe we won't eat while we're there. Great title, btw. And a good capture for the project. Let's hope you can get another one when the prices go way down (yeah, right).
March 10th, 2011
Great sign choice!
March 10th, 2011
Sigh...
March 10th, 2011
In Australia I paid $1.70 litre yesterday. Just crazy...Great shot Rick. Be great to look back on at the end of your project and see how the price differs. Lets hope by then they will have gone down....I know I know, wishful thinking =)
March 10th, 2011
Perfect title and great sign of the times shot! My daughter just told me that someone is trying to get a million people to not buy gas on March 15. Not sure if this will help, but it will feel good to do something.
March 10th, 2011
Saw $3.84 in Olympia, Wa, USA
March 10th, 2011
isn't it crazy??
March 10th, 2011
Very nice for the theme. Cannot compare prices probably much cheaper than in my place.
March 10th, 2011
This makes me glad that I don't drive my car very often. We filled our tank for the first time since Christmas two weekends ago, and we were shocked to see the prices at the pump. I remember back when I was in college and gas was under $1.00!
March 10th, 2011
It's painful at the pumps these days! Great photojournalism shot
March 10th, 2011
Wonderful story shot and theme shot!!
March 10th, 2011
wow. will have to come over to you and get gas there.... thats low . haven't seen it under 3.60 odd in awhile over here...
March 10th, 2011
I like the colors and don't even get me started on the gas prices, here in CA the prices are ridiculous.
March 10th, 2011
Great shot for the theme! Let's hope it goes down from here!
March 10th, 2011
I paid $4.04 today for regular unleaded. That sounds pretty good to me.
March 10th, 2011
Great idea for the theme, Rick. Our prices are high, too. I think I paid $3.59 last week. I like your title... :-)
March 10th, 2011
Over £1.30 a litre un the UK, we do not use our are much these days. Not sure what he is in $?
March 10th, 2011
Frightening, indeed!
March 10th, 2011
ridiculous isn't it....really aggrevates me considering I have to drive 50 miles a day round trip for my commute
March 10th, 2011
I'm so sick of hearing city -dwelling economist tell us to suck it in and pay, as they board their metro systems. It's tough when you live in the country and have no choice but to drive 70 miles roundtrip to get to work, a doctor's, groceries...Nice sign theme shot, it will be historical in another decade.
March 10th, 2011
Isn't it awful. Great shot and title.
March 10th, 2011
Well said! By the way....people in the city spend a lot of time stalled in traffic as they drive to the Metro and some drive 3 hours each way just to get to work. Trade offs wherever you live.
March 10th, 2011
Bummer! At least we are not in California...I hear it's almost $5 per gallon!!! Highway robbery..I'm going to start riding a bicycle!
March 10th, 2011
3.59 here in NH, and they went up 10 cents in one day.
March 10th, 2011
Yep, we're feeling the pinch here too. If they can, they will. And they can because we have no choice in the matter for the most part
March 10th, 2011
Hi Rick, sorry it has taken me so long to get back to replying to your comments. I am so grateful you 'felt' the strange need to start that thread and I feel no pressure whatsoever about posting and commenting but instead great blessings and encouragement from the 365 community. I am heading into a phase of treatment that is going to be very difficult and I'm quite scared so it is a great distraction to get my camera out when I can and upload and see other's photos when time and health permits. A God-incidence I would say (instead of co-incidence) just what I needed to help me get through what lies ahead of me. Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers, Bless You xo SJ
March 10th, 2011
Wow. OUCH... I'm actually glad you posted this. It gives me an idea of what the prices will look like when I get to the upper peninsula in MI.
March 10th, 2011
Great shot for the theme...we are also experiencing a lot of price increases here in South Africa!
March 10th, 2011
Just saw one station selling regular at 4.50 today while running errands. Incredible.
March 10th, 2011
$3.79 in Seattle... Nice shot of the times we are facing... Need to start riding a bike!
March 10th, 2011
Haven't got my thinking cap on right now but here in Canada, in our part of the country, gas is $1.19.9 per litre. Pretty scarry!
March 10th, 2011
Ugh, I paid $3.97 for '87 today. Perfect for the theme!
March 10th, 2011
Ours is $3.41 right now at the station I go to and that is down .08 cents from two days ago.
March 11th, 2011
Pretty much the same story here. Good shot for the theme.
March 11th, 2011
Deb
Fuming here in NH also...great capture of current events !
March 11th, 2011
I know, these prices are really ridiculous and they're just going to get worse
March 14th, 2011
Ugh. We're over $4/gal here. No end in sight... Perfect title!!
March 14th, 2011
Help! My wallet is shrinking!
March 15th, 2011
Ouch! I own an SUV...just saw a commercial for a Fiesta....seriously considering it...seriously
March 16th, 2011
Ours were $3.44 last week and this morning I saw one for $3.33 so they have gone down a bit since then.
