I have enjoyed watching this tree for the past several years. I pass it almost daily as I travel this country road. It does not appear to be getting any larger, so I am convinced it is some kind of dwarf tree. It changes with the seasons, and I think it is positioned perfectly in this country setting, overlooking the country side. I posted a photo of this same tree back in January when it was snow covered, and now the colors are once again beginning to appear. As you can see the fields are becoming green, and it is casting a nice shadow from the afternoon sun. I just love the quiet country feel to this.
I tried posting the link to the other photo but for some reason it would not work. If you feel so compelled, you can look back through my January calendar for the previous post.
I love love love the quiet country feel as well. I am a country girl... more than a city girl and I really appreciate open space and nature. Great shot Rick!
Beautiful tree, Rick! I have a cherry tree in my yard that hasn't grown at all in the 19 years since I planted it, making me think the same thing. The green grass and blue sky made me happy.
@digitalrn Hi Rick. I'll reply here & on your page. I love photobox. All my photo products are from that company. I have canvases, mugs, photobooks, prints. The service is speedy & the quality is really good. I'm not sure what international shipping would be like for you though. If you use this link you can get 20% off (not sure on the international angle there either sorry):
