@rhoing Thom, the hand is coming along I guess. It will be wrapped tight until Friday, so movement is not much of an option, though depending on how I turn my hand, it all but takes me to the floor. I will most likely start therapy next week. Fun :) Thanks for asking.
Great mood. Hey Rick, have you read Blue Like Jazz: Nonreligious Thoughts on Chrisian Spirituality by Donald Miller? I discovered him when I bought an audiobook for our long car ride to Florida That introduction to his writing, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: How I Learned to Live a Better Story, led me to several more of his works and i am definitely hooked. I think you would like them.
@digitalrn Getting old isn't for sissies! I finally had foot surgery last summer for an arthritis issue: I know exactly what you mean by "all but takes me to the floor." Hopefully your hand will adjust to whatever was "done to it"!
Rick, I was talking to Allison about those same books the other day at school. I'm also planning to get them as what she told me sounded like I would enjoy them...but first I need to finish the 3rd book of the Hunger Games series...a page turner...as were the first 2 also.
You are good! Great words. I took the same picture of my doorknob except I didn't post it because it was a shiny doorknob and reflected my messy room :) It was like a rounded mirror image. I suppose I should just straighten the room and try again...
Fabulous shot.....I wish I had your talent for creating photo ops! I could walk around my house for weeks and never be able to find anything to take a picture of. You really have an immense creative streak!
Beautiful shot and caption. Alfred Hitchcock said nothing is as scary as a closed door, and this is so true, rather in a movie or a change in our lives.
How's the hand?
