Well, the rain subsided, and even though it was a bit on the chilly side today, it was still sunny and nice enough to be outside. The Grandkids were over for the weekend, and last evening Kassidy informed us that she would really like to have a Hoola Hoop. Well, what are Grandparents supposed to do when they hear something like that? So today she was outside practicing. Beleive it or not, she even had Grandma doing it, and actually Grandma was pretty good. Later when no one else was around, and I was pretty sure no one was watching, she even convinced Grandpa to do it. Well let's not even go there. Kassidy did get a few chuckles out of Grandpa trying to swing his hips. It barely made one rotation and then it was around my ankles. Hope you all had a wonderful Sunday.
Great action shots and collage of Kassidy. The hoola hoop is such a family friendly sport. I have one but haven't used it for some time. Thanks for sharing.
Hula hoops! You are wonderful grandparents. Kassidy is one lucky girl, and beautiful too. Fabulous collage, Rick. That's the only way to go when you have so many great shots to choose from.
Rick she is so cute, I loved the hula hoop when I was a kid. To bad most kids these days don't even want to try or don't know what it is, or how to use it. You go girl!
What an awesome weekend and collection of photos! I would never delete your comments! Ever. I love hearing your thoughts on things. I'm even out and on my phone... it doesn't even give me the options to reply or delete. We'll call it a mystery of the internet.
Wonderful collage...hard to believe the hula hoop is still around and needs no batteries. I had one over 50 years ago believe it or not (without batteries)!
@hellcat No, I know you wouldn't. I thought you revised it and it accidently deleted it. I know I've edited a photo already and I accidently deleted a comment or two. I was just giving you a hard time,
Beautiful collage! Your granddaughter is so pretty and looks like she loved her gift. That's what is so fun about being grandparents - we can make a few little wishes come true. :-) I remember being pretty good at hula hooping as a child, but not so much now. I have the same problem you did, Rick. :-) How's the therapy going?
Looking at the fun you have with your granddaughter as well as marvelous photo opportunities, I know I have so much to look forward to! The pictures are joy-filled, and marvelous action shots! When I see what I've been missing, I want to thank you for caring enough to draw me back!
Very sweet collage and so cool that grandpa go some hip action...
Hope your hand is feeling better...
