I am fortunate to have the opportunity to travel country roads during my daily drive to and from work. I really enjoy the morning commute, as the roads are quieter, and depending on the lighting, you are frequently surprised by some beautiful sights. This little pond sits quietly, undisturbed, underneath this beautiful weeping willow tree on a small farm along one of the country roads. The lighting this morning was wonderful, and with the sunlight being filtered through the morning mist still hanging low, the greens seemed so bright and beautiful. Since this road is quiet, I was able to stop and grab a quick photo. The morning sunlight provides some nice reflections, a nice addition to the photo. The weekend is here. No Grandkids this weekend, so it will be quiet and relaxing. No pressure. We are free to do whatever. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

This is gorgeous! It looks like it's meant to be in a frame, or maybe on the cover of a greeting card. If you showed it to your residents at reminiscence time I bet you would get a lot of stories. :)
Amen, Rick; my ride is the same and it's so beautifully amazing how the same spot can look so different because of the sunlight, or clouds, the wind effects, etc. We're blessed with a beautiful land.

Your caption and comment are as beautiful as this picture. the reflection of the weeping willow tree and the dock invites one to want to stay and relax for a bit....but I guess your job was calling you. I really like to add it to my favorits.
