Stand Tall And Take Charge by digitalrn

Stand Tall And Take Charge

In life there is usually one in the group, born to be a leader. The majority go along for the ride, willing to follow, one willing to take on the challenge ahead. I really liked how this one goose, front and center was the only one standing straight with his head up high. All the other ones either have their head down, turned away, or tucked in behind them, as if to say, I do not like taking risks. I'm posting early today, as I am not sure what is planned for the remainder of the day. But I will return later to comment on your postings. Have a great day.
Geese will always have one or two members of their flock standing guard at all times, and sometimes the flock will be faced in all different directions for protection. The one in your photo is the guard goose at the moment.

Ha Ha! That's a lot of geese.
Thank you. Lots of changes here (as always) but it's good (hopefully). :D We had a great Christmas, it was simply relaxing. My daughter asked Santa for a violin so I've been getting early morning concerts for the past few days. :) Your holidays looked wonderful too. It had to be. You had the whole family there didn't you? Anyways, I'll be popping in and around.

Beautiful and thought-provoking as usual, Rick. Life seems so random sometimes, but then you somehow find the exact message you need. This was one of those for me, Rick. I've missed you...

I'm sure if you ran right at that one, he would have been the first to make a noise, the first in the air and the others would have fallen in line before you had a chance to get very close.
