Our Daughter's Bleeding Heart bush that surprisingly came up after we thought we had removed it all from its previous location, is doing great! Even with only a few blooms, she is beginning to come to life. In another few weeks it will be so much fuller. She will be thrilled to see how it is growing. What I love about this shot, you can truly see where they got the name.
It mightn't be nice if you had a heart problem! This is an amazing flower with it's extension of petals! I've always had trouble with red in flowers getting it true!

Isn't that beautiful!! and strange, my dad planted a Bleeding Heart plant for my mom after she passed away, and it grew beautifully for 3 years until my brother accidentally pulled it out of the ground one fall. We thought for sure it was gone for good, but nope, the next spring there she was growing and blooming as if it hadn't been touched!
