Fragrance Memory

As I continued to look through things, I stumbled upon this unopened bottle of Avon's Imari, one of my Mother's favorite perfumes. I remember the fragrance to this day.

Amazing how the sense of smell can evoke memories. My mother used to wear a Gloria Vanderbilt perfume. She passed away when I was 36. Then decades later a colleague at work wore the same perfume and it brought me straight back with the added memory of grief!
