@lbluejaye8 sad that some buildings are in decay but many are being re-done. I am in Detroit very often and see so much progress! they are putting an orchard in on the east side, many of the downtown buildings have been refurbished and filled with trendy stores and there are lots of condos and apartments going up along the riverfront. The new hockey arena is slated for opening next year. No, it's not the Detroit of Henry Ford but there are new players there! Photographers do love to photograph the old and decaying buildings though, I personally know a dozen who make a living at it! thanks for sharing the photos.
@jackies365 Wow! That's very interesting! I was in there recently (I'm from the UK) and was surprised as it wasn't the derelict Detroit I was imaging I would see.
@lbluejaye8 Exactly! I often think that a few photos don't always tell all the story - some excellent snaps of one tiny corner of a property, don't mean the rest is all awesome!
