Posting directly from Lightroom

Is it possible to post directly from LR without having to export a photo first? For example, with Flickr, I can set up a publish service in LR that lets me post to Flickr directly. LR will keep the photos in sync, so that if I make a change to a Flickr photo, the updated photo is re-published.

I don't think the site has an API for Lightroom to use but it's probably a question for @scrivna
