Exporting 365 album

Hi!

I'd like to upload all my 365 photos so far (I have about 5 months worth so far) but I'd like to know if I can export the completed album as a PDF or something, complete with captions? I'll be upgrading to Ace membership if that makes any difference.

hi, I only see 5 photos in your folder, but i guess you mean you are intending to upload 5 months worth of photos to your project? I dont know if you can do a batch download from 365 site, I recommend saving them elsewhere yourself as you go, perhaps in a book template .

Glad I came across this now (just 5 days in). I’ve begun uploading photos into Shutterfly and plan to make a photo book at the end of the year.

Looks like it may not happen. I did a photo a day for months but had to abandon it as this feature didn't appear.

@ramr @dreadlington hey, how would you like me to export these albums, what would you like the file to be, a pdf, a folder of the images, would you like descriptions/comments etc included?

@Scrivna A folder of images. Folder for every month and photographes can be named as Month-Day.Jpg.

For me the whole point would be to have a PDF file with photos and descriptions. Folders for every month can easily be done myself. I want to be able to look back on these in a few years time and share the pdf with others.

@Scrivna I never thought of it. If we do the pdf format will I be able to print it into a book. There are 2 reasons why I wanted to download the 1) to archive the 2019 project 2) to print a book of my project. Is it possible to do both formats?

@ramr I understand the use-case for the pdf / presentation format more than I understand the need for a raw export of the images, as I imagine most people have the images stored elsewhere already.

Just to make it clear to everyone, this feature was 'a few weeks away' in 2018. Having paid for a full profile on here and it turning into a waste of time because it was never implemented I suggest you think carefully before going down the same path. The developer hasn't replied on this thread since September 2019 and I very much doubt this feature will ever happen.

Hey @romainz I have attempted building this feature. It proves to be very difficult as many members projects were multiple gigabytes in size and there was no reasonable way to make it happen. Zip all the files and give you a link to download 10GB?... not really a reasonable option. So honestly I was just a bit stuck on how to move forward with it. Open to suggestions!

Hi @Scrivna ...Maybe it's a good idea to make a backup link on monthly (our quarterly ) base. And put the link on the the user Profile page.
