Hey all, I'm still pretty new to the photography world even though it's been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember....but I'm looking for a new lens. I have my kit lens Canon 18-55 IS and a 50mm 1.8 prime. What are some of your favorite lens you carry with you?
I have the same lenses as you but I've just bought a Canon 28-135mm to replace the kit lens. It's not that wide but I plan on getting an ultra-wide and a moderate prime lens in the near future.
I love my Canon 500 mm 1.4 prime and while I have a soft spot for my 60 mm 2.8 macro, I've mostly convinced my DH that I should own a Canon 100 mm 2.8 L IS macro ;)
I often steal his 70 - 200 f/2.8 L IS when he's not looking ... I've taken a few photos on his 5D Mark II using his 85 mm f/1.2 LII lens - I think I could quite happily trade my 400D in for that ;) Sadly, I don't get to justify that kind of money as my photography love is just a hobby, not a job :(
