I am looking for a high zoom P&S. I am not ready for a DSLR nor do I really want to change lens with all the hiking/outdoor activity I do. I was looking at these two cameras today. I was quite impressed with the Fugi HS10 because of the manual zoom. I am looking for high zoom with manual control capabilities. Please if you have/had one of these cameras because give me an honest review. I need help. Thanks!
i have a fujji finepix s8000, with 18x optical zoom. and i really love it. the zoom is really great:) And my uncle has the fuji HS10 and the zoom is even more impressive. my camera takes really good with full zoom and it also has really good macro settings. i like mine and the one one your looking at is even better so i think youll be happy with it:)
Fuji fan here...Have an S2000HD currently (and LOVE IT!!!), but hoping for an HS10 (someday) before the big leap to a dslr. The only thing I've heard negative about it is it's size...it's apparently a bit big and clunky for a p&s???
