Anyone know anything good or bad about this new camera...a friend is wanting a new camera, more than a point and shoot but doesn't feel quite ready for a DSLR. Your feedback is appreciated from my friend.

It's meant to be good, a nice stepping stone to a DSLR but the menu system isn't meant to be very intuitive. Also, there aren't a lot of lenses and the larger of the two released is too big for the body. I'd suggest the Canon S90 as it's a true half-way house between a compact and a D-SLR.
