A while back I posted a topic about underwater / waterproof cameras and I wanted to share that I've bought one :D It's an Olympus Stylus Tough 8010 - if anyone else has one, feedback would be appreciated. I can't wait to try it!
I actually have the olympus stylus 770SW, which is shock and waterproof, so it basically has a lot of the basic concepts as your new one...and I LOVE it!
if the water is clear so will your pictures.
It works best in pools and really clear ocean water, and fountains. I wouldn;t suggest playing at the beach with it like in the shore break but if you go out further where there are no waves and it's clear then it should take fabulous pictures!!

Emileigh, thaaanks! I live on the beach and the water is verrrry clear here, so hopefully they'll come out alright. I don't ever really go near pools but we'll see.
ive got an olympus m tough 8000, it takes a beating, havent used it a whole lot lately being winter, but come summer i'll bring it out again. just remeber to always rinse in fresh water afterwards! and make sure all your bits are closed beffore getting it wet
