Last week I started a topic about your favourite photo for the first week of August. As promised, if it proved popular - which it did - I would start the thread again.
So, what's your favourite photo between the dates of Monday 9 August and Sunday 15 August? Please post just one photo (even if it's a difficult choice!) to help showcase your work. You can do this by going to the page with your fave photo and copying the code that is in the 'Share' box and pasting it here.
To kick off, although a certain caterpillar shot proved to be very popular, here's the photo that I personally prefer that I took on 14 August:
I am really happy with this shot, as I have biked to this US memorial in belgium a few times, but I finally dragged my SLR along for the 45 mile round trip this weekend. I got a shot which was pretty much exactly what I had in mind when I set out that morning with my bike and my camera. That in itself makes me really happy.
hhhmmm.... hard pic for me, because I love the 3 sunset photos I got to take this week.... and the fencepost pic has a lot of sentimental value... but I'm going with this one b/c I love my son's hand in it, and the colors are fun
This week was a fairly good one but I decided this was the best because I like the reflections, colors, and the genuine happiness this restaurant owner displays. It's a good spur of the moment picture for me.
I just love this one, as the new wisteria blooms were a surprise to discover one day....but now it's what I see as I look just outside my living room window/back patio door, so it speaks to me of home, and peace, and beauty, and a favourite vine.
Tanya..go to the picture you want to post . On the right side...down about 3/4 of the way down the page, you'll see "share"... copy the code from that share box (you'll simply click in the box and it will highlight the code) then paste the code in the box here.
Very nice contributions to this topic, loved browsing through them, well done all!
My fave for this week was almost a tie between this one and my Sun in the Sky photo. Went for this one though as I like having people in my photos. Especially with such big smiles :-)
I like this one because I didn't expect to take a picture of anything in my friend's yard. I was out there checking on Maggie - she was barking at the neighbor's dog. Then I saw this one flower and had to get my camera. I like the unusual color.
Just love the combonation of this shot!

this one because it was unexpected ...I was just out working in the garden, not really expecting to take anything special...
Although it says the 16th on this image, I am now aware I'm somehow a day ahead :/
I'll have to see where I went wrong!
I love the intensity of this picture....
