I have a question: When I reply to a comment posted under my photos, do I need to format it in a particular way?
For example, if Old King Cole left a comment and I wanted to reply underneath it, should I format it as one of these or neither of these:
"@Old King Cole"
"@OldKingCole"
"@Old"
If you just hit the "reply" link on their comment, it'll slap the correct format in at the end of the "write comment" box. Also, it's not based around display names (in your case, Carol-Ann) but usernames (in your case, carolann).
Also, you need to make sure there's no other characters touching the @name, such as my comma there. They seem to stop them from being picked up. So you'd write @eyebrows , for example, to notify me.
If you click on reply you can see the username with the @. That is what the notification is using, the username. Be sure to put a space after it before typing your message otherwise it won't be recognized.
with regards to the "format reply" option...its amazing we have this like flickr...hope facebook has it too...or its just me who doesnt know...i'm deleting this coz its for another thread..hehehe...

Thanks for helping. I must be the only person who didn't get the memo! lol.
