To begin this thread here's my favourite from between these dates (taken on 1 October):
I've actually had a really good week....but I'd have to say this one is my favorite because the super macro setting was right on! keep in mind that this entire flower is actually a little smaller than a U.S. Dime...now realize how small this fly is.
I'm kinda in a slump, but even so I had a hard time deciding between this one and the one the day before of the inside of the umbrella. Both are pretty representative of my days lately.
This week has been rough on me in handful of different ways so the project has suffered too. I'm gonna say this is my favorite though, because it started something on here and it was amazing watching everyone pull together the way we have in the past week! October 1st:
Wow, fabulous choices everyone! I think this one is my favorite from this week. Although it's not exactly what I was trying to do, I did manage to get the beach ball a lot clearer in the drop than the first time I tried it.
I couldnt make up my mind, but finally went with this one. The picture made me realize some things... it made me think. I feel like this picture is worth more than a thousand words...it can be interpreted in many ways... plus, I thought it was unique among all of my photos because generally I don't do black and white... only when I feel it is "right".
Here is my fav. This is an enormous mosaic in Hot Springs, AR. I've wanted to take a photo here for a long time. I'm glad I just went ahead and took it, and didn't let the passers-by bother me.
these are all amazing!
i think this one is my favorite--because not only did it make me feel a little creative (the project) but it also allowed me to showcase an old photo of my oldest (now 14!!) that i love.
A favourite mainly because of the much appreciated feedback I received for my first attempt at a self-portrait, and the start of a steep learning curve!
Wow, what an amazing list of photos again this week. I really like to see everyone's personal favorites, it's even more fun than looking at the Popular page. Well done everyone!
I like this one because nature is full of surprises. I went out to take photos of the golden sunrise rays shining on the trunk of a tree, but when I turned round I saw this awesome sight.
Here is mine, it was taken October 7.
such a cute jumper ... :)
This one as the story behind it is so precious to me. My son is my hero!!
I like this one because it was just such a great fun photo shoot
But that's the only one that I actually liked , so
I was able to get close and watch this little guy groom his feathers as well as catch this shot.
I've been wanting to see a double rainbow and on Tuesday I saw a LOT of double rainbows.
not the best week for me.. but i like this one(:

I'll go with this one
not technically the best, but it has the most sentimental value...
Sad tale of Orca Whale which beached itself on 6 Oct
Colours are completely untouched, I've only resized and sharpened it :)

Jasper played on sand for the first time, the sun was in just the right place, i love baby bums!
i like this one!
this is when i love him the most...when he is sitting quietly!
Here's my contribution...
Taken October 5th
Even thought this isn't qualitatively the best picture, these fruits that look like 'tree lights' hold a magic for me.
My personal favourite from this week is this one:
Unplanned and spontaneous, but I like how they turned out.
:)
i was amaze when i stood in between this great pillars of the Karnak Temple
October 3rd :)
