As a pretty new member of this community, let me thank you for being so welcoming and for creating such a fabulous place for someone at any level of photographic skill to grow and explore. So many different ways to participate, and so many open doors, instead of small cliques that don't welcome new members. You should all give yourselves a pat on the back for being such a wonderful place!

Welcome aboard! 365 is a great photographic adventure and if your experience is anything like mine, you'll find yourself growing as a photographer in ways you never expected. I think it is THE best photo community on line- EVER!
I completely agree with you @dfarrington it is a wonderful site. I’ve been a member for 3 years now and I still love it just as much. Good luck with your project.
@dfarrington it is indeed a wonderful site - I have been here for almost 6 years - I have learned so much, not only about photography but also about all the wonderful places around the world. I have also met some wonderful people - some of whom I have been lucky enough to meet in person. Enjoy the experience!
I started in 2011? I did lots and keep popping back. Do you have any idea how many times I've burnt dinner because of this place? Too many to count :) Have fun!
My daughter suggested this site to me back in January of 2010 and it's been the best gathering place of like-minded friends I've come across! Some years I've fallen away for a few months at a time, but I always return; this is where my friends are, and many of us have met up face-to-face! Wishing you that same camaraderie in the years ahead!

Well, this is a lovely introduction, Debra. Welcome indeed. I have loved every single day being here, even those when I wasn't able to post or to comment - and there were a few... 365 is really a great community.

@darylo That's a fantastic post and summarizes all that I'm finding in my first weeks here on 365. I, too, joined a camera club locally a couple years ago, but found the group to be a tight clique and very uninterested in pet photography, which is my thing. Finding this community has been a true joy and very affirming, and hopefully I will be able to affirm others as much as, and as well as, I have been affirmed here!
@dfarrington I couldn’t agree more! I appreciate everyone and miss them and seeing the world thei eyes, when I’m slacking. Starting my 5th year here and I feel like it’s still fun, new and magical, thanks to everyone here!
