Lighting and exposure are wonderful with lots of lovely negative space. Did not know that block planes could be so pretty!

This photo doesn't leave anyone with warm, fuzzy feelings, but that's what I like about it. The plight of the homeless, especially in the midst of the extreme cold of recent days, is very sad and painful, and this picture captured some of that for me. from @amyk
