Photoshop help - Grid lines across image and not able to duplicate layers

February 23rd, 2019
Seems to me the problems started with the new 2019 but when I bring an image from Lightroom to photoshop I can't duplicate layers in photoshop.

Today another issue - when I add an image in photoshop there are gridlines - it is larger than pixel grid - I look under view menu and I have very few options to even select.

sounds inordinately frustrating... i'm still working on the 2018 version of PS CC and everything is fine for me... have you tried adobe's website, or googling to see if there's any chatter around the issue?

You sure did already try with "Ctrl + 3" to remove the grid? and "Ctrl + J" to dublicate the layer?

I did manage to get rid of the grid and get Ctrl J to finally work again. Since the upgrade I have not been able to go from Lightroom directly to Photoshop and use the duplicate command but if I download the photo directly to Photoshop it was working. But yesterday even if I downloaded it directly Ctrl J didn't work. Now it is all working again and no more grid. I don't understand what I did. @mona65 @northy Thank you for your responses. I am always afraid to get the newest update because of bugs but some of the updates are better. it is faster. I did lose some of my presets. And I used Nik collection in photoshop but now I only have it in Lightroom. I have always used the shortcut Cntrl J to duplicate but I appreciate you asking.
