that is rather odd... have you searched the web thru tineye to see if perhaps your image is showing up on some other website? https://www.tineye.com/search
@pamknowler You could try making this one picture Restricted instead of Public. It's what I ended up doing with one of mine that had a large amount of views in excess of comments.

I somehow found an image of mine on a Chinese website which I posted some five months ago and restricted it. I cannot replicate the search so don't know I found it!
Yesterday I had 69 views but when I look at the stats for the last 24 hours there are only 23 views??!!...so it could be an old photo that is being viewed but I don't know how to find it!
@rosie00 If you look at your Photo Stats you can pick any peaks in the graph at the top of the page for shots for the last month. If you look at your top rated pics these may also show a disproportionate amount of views vs comments. That's the only advice I can give I'm afraid, hope it helps. I've had the same problem as you have!

Sure enough, a pic of mine posted 1Jan 2015 has had 5 views in the last 24 hours and 29 in the last week so I checked it out: 43 comments, 8 Favs... and 7361 views! I tried a search for the title but my image didn't appear in the first several hundred results. Go figure! @scrivna ?
@vignouse Out of curiosity I Googled chapelonhill.com richardsayer (that's where one of mine has ended up) and this search came up with quite a few links to 365, one of which is a TT page and one of the images there is your Maize shot with 400 views showing. Someone likes your pictures v much!
@fbailey Very interesting Felicity - from the Google links it appears that chapelonhill.com is a sort of mirror site for 365 but if I go to the site, I can't get past the opening screen. But, being a chinese site might explain why there are sometimes thousands of views but no comments. Curiouser and curiouser, as the cat said to Alice.
