I am just starting my 365 project and have a few questions. Is it acceptable to post at photos later if you don't have access to a computer while traveling? How many photographs do you take before posting? My project is a bit challenging in that I am only using manual mode and one lens. Although I may have to start using at least tos different lens. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Hi Luisa, you can upload at any time, many people put photos up in batches. you can only put one photo for each date, but you can backdate. if you get ace membership you can have 3 albums, therefore 3 for each date. you can upload from a phone or by email as well as on the website itself
hope you enjoy your project
@lspriggs51 Welcome to 365 Luisa. I am overseas atm and will be flying overnight. I will post shots for today and tomorrow by just adding the date of tomorrow. Enjoy your project.
Welcome to 365. I would just add to what has already been said that it's possibly best not to upload huge numbers of shots at one time as it puts the viewers' brains on overload and you might not receive so many comments etc!
Thanks everyone for responding. My second question did not come out the way I had thought about in my mind. I would never upload a huge number of shots in one day. I just don't have that kind of time. LOL. But after reading the question, I understand why I received the responses I did. I do appreciate your feedback and next time will try to be clearer. Thanks Diana and Kali for responding to my travel question, that was helpful.
Welcome Luisa. Hope you will enjoy the lovely community here. I’m doing this for more than 9 years and I have few tips for you
- have fun and don’t put pressure on yourself
- your project = your rules. Do what ever feels good to you
- if you want comments on your pictures, comment on the others
- there are many competitions themes that may help you if at one point you need inspiration
Welcome to the 365 Project! My tip for beginners is to not worry too much about the perfect picture...just use the opportunity to see your world with the 'eyes of a photographer.' Looking forward to seeing your photos.
@houser934 Thanks Kathryn. I agree with your points. Although, I am not a beginner. Just looks that way because I haven't been shooting regularly. I started in the 80's but have never been committed to my practice. My anxiety comes from trying to learn and be creative at the same time. Its quite a challenge. If anyone has a word of advice on how to balance the two, I love to hear. from you. I may start a new conversation about this.
hope you enjoy your project
