Looking through the benefits of having an Ace Membership, it says we can edit and replace photos with Picnik. No more PicMonkey? I can’t find Picnik in the App Store. Is it a decent app??
picmonkey used to be picnik back 6 or 7 years ago.
picnik must've been owned by 2 people who probably split because while picmonkey's function are still similar to what used to be picnik, with some modifications, another app was formed called "ribbet" which retained most of picnik's icons and formats. 365 stayed with picmonkey.
i think that ross or his magic monkeys had been so busy they didn't have time to amend that particular "picnik" blurb in the ace membership article. we should forgive him for that. :-)
i was just going through the "ace membership benefits" and it does say picmonkey, no mention of picnik anywhere. down below it even has the picmonkey logo.
@yogiw - sandy, you can only post a photo on your comment here or in any discussion if that photo is posted in any of your albums.
the FAQs page methinks predates to when the site was established. the page i was looking at would've been modified after picnik was replaced by picmonkey and the album rules changed.
in any case, folks, it's picmonkey.
let's not beat ross over that; he's a nice boy and he's always busy.
No problem. I'm gonna renew anyway but I just wanted to find out what Picnik was in case I missed an announcement or something. Starting my 7th year on 365 but I've only had an ACE membership for several years now.
Thank you everyone. Hope you had a great holiday. Here's to a FABULOUS 2020!!
I am returning to my project after only posting a few photos in 2019. It says I have renewed my ACE membership last month but I dont seem to have a new album to start 2020. can anyone shed some light on this please. I need to get going again
@cruiser Mine was under Account Settings>Albums. There’s a green button on the left that said “Add Album” after I renewed. Hope this helps! Happy New Year and welcome back.
