Here is your annual opportunity to showcase your personal fabourites from your albums taken during the past YEAR. Not an easy task, but quite enjoyable to look back a remember the event, effort or just shear fun of that shot.
Please do say why you like that photograph the most from your year. Both of mine were taken in October and are very different.
My favourite indoor ( well I used the garage) shot. I accomplished three things here- smoke, light painting and compositing
This was taken, on my cheap phone, of Temple Island on the river Thames just after sunrise.
Favourite of your week will return next week. Thank you all for taking part and showing your favourites.
One of my grandsons--I also liked the lyrics I put with this because I thought the combination was sweet: “Mamas' don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys . . . “

I find it hard to choose a favourite photo, but here is a shot of one of my favourite places. I love to explore the North York Moors, and here is a shot of the village of Ainthorpe.
I’ve chosen this one because it reminds me how far I’ve come with learning photoshop as part of a Photography Diploma I’m doing. The latest paper was about Photographic Design. I’ve gone from knowing nothing at the beginning of April, to producing this composite of four of my photos and four layers of text for a book cover design assignment we had to do in April…
Was fun looking back through, so many shots i had forgotten about and also quite a few gaps! the most significant photos for me were candids with my grandchildren, i am always hovering with my camera over my shoulder trying to get them, but i try to be quick about it, and then i often miss because of settings or the moment just passes before i can capture what i have seen , so i like this one. breaks my heart they are moving away in a few months so i wont get to keep practising :(
Since I have only been back on 365 since October, I am going with this one as it is the first photo since I recommitted to taking and posting at least one photo a day . Missed this place and all you lovely people.
Flying out of Saint Petersburg. Got to be that one - I didn't think I would get such a clear shot sticking my cell phone (!) past the face of a sleeping fellow passenger. Plus, the view was amazing - the whole city that you usually see on the map, just in front of you in all its glory.
Thanks, Jackie, for motivating us to do our own personal "year in review." Mine was only six days into the year, but it remained my favorite throughout the year, mostly because it was purely happenstance that this ship drifted by when it did.
This is my favourite because the Camera Club Judge gave it the lowest mark of the lot at 12/20 but my friends on 365 gave it 24 Favs. That's why I am still on this site but no longer belong to Bedford Camera Club!
@kali66@jackies365 Ladies your's are so similar yet contrasting, thank you for such poignant shots
@rosiekind that's why I won't join a real camera club- much prefer the constructive critiques and advice of 365!! @4rky Must visit you soooooooooooooooooon @m2016 real contrasts Mel @mzzhope glad you're back and I met you!! @vera365 lovely!
I really struggled with this as I was fairly new to the project and some of my shots were/still are very basic and not very clever. However, I was really proud of this one of my grandson, Noah. We had been to feed some alpacas and then stopped for lunch outdoors when the heavens opened.
I chose these two because they remind me of the kindness and generosity of delightful friendships I've developed through this 365 community. @domenicododaro and family took me to see this beautiful sunset over Rome and @caterina took me to Borghetto and her patient and kind husband stopped the car just for this photograph.
Thank you @30pics4jackiesdiamond for this discussion because looking back through the project brought about warmth and nostalgia for experiences of the past year.
I think this has to be one of my favorites of 2019 because I really tried something different and it worked. My grandson was such a good model and so patient with me as I tried different lighting and different poses to try to get his silhouette just right. This is a photo of him that I will treasure for years to come.
it was interesting to think about this as a year of photography is a lot of photos!
one thing with this shot is that it is rare for me to get a clear photo of Racee (the mum) as she tends to hide behind foliage a lot

I like this one because Ferrara is a city I love and where I don’t live anymore and because fog is so typical of the place

Ian
my absolute favorite of my mom and my grandson's hands.
And this one because I love the colours...
From the end of April last year; the first time I went "off auto" with a camera and so happy with the result :)
