Mine? This one of my daughter who I'd not seen since February- she's still camera shy though!!
Many thanks to all who support this thread and those who pop in to view it. Stay safe, stay sane.
I totally missed the focus on this shot, but it was exciting to capture a baby cowbird being fed by the much smaller Oregon Junco. I'd read about how cowbirds lay their eggs in other birds nests, but it was cool to actually see another species raising one.
They say that 80% of photography is being there. This shot is proof of that. If I had arrived 5 minutes later, the fog would have lightened and the sun's position would have changed and this shot wouldn't have been possible.
I like this one for a number of reasons, primarily due to a comment I received from @aikiuser whose thoughts made me look at the photograph with new eyes, and thereby gaining a new insight. So thank you jenn. (If you want to see what jenn said about it click on the photo and you should go to the original posting).
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I had gone open water swimming there. I was up to my neck for about an hour and a half. But I often take a camera to see what I can get.
