A tropical depression was passing just south of Fort Pierce, FL. I used post processing to give it an old timey postcard feel. The wall and sidewalk lead our eye to the building and to the storm beyond.
Only two to choose from...quite the challenge to get these pebbles to balance and I like the form they took and the light from the side as well as the line of the shadow they cast.
I was glad to get this photo of an American Alligator that came up right beside the airboat I was on in the Everglades. I especially liked that so much of his body showed above water.
