A bit of a sad flashback, taken only a bit more than a year ago. This huge poplar became uprooted by a massive storm lately and had to be removed. It will be missed. My dad told me, that this scene with that old tree was captured one his first film roll, when he came to Switzerland some 60 years ago. π’
Last night, when I wondered how it was that I first got to visit @domenicododaro he said it was because @taffy and I had been posting side-by-side photos of Iceland and tagging each other and he had been intrigued. And this morning, my flashback Friday took me back to -- Iceland! Looking at this image now, I realize. have since this post changed the crop to emphasize the glacier bits more, and processed the entire photo for better clarity. I do like going back and reprocessing favorite images over time. But here's the original post the flashback took me to visit:
