Can you recollect the very first camera you owned. Mine was this little beauty that I received as a gift as I was spending some time in hospital when I was a youngster - I couldn't have been much more than about 10 years old.
Wish I still had it. It would have been a true collector's piece now.
My first camera was incapable of taking photos that were really recognisable!
Just pressing the shutter produced significant camera shake!!
The results were pretty disappointing!
I had a Polaroid camera as a kid. I loved it and took pictures of all kinds of inane things. Getting a pack of film for it was my favorite present. Instant gratification!
I got my very first camera 10 years ago on my 14th birthday... Its just a normal film camera but I loved it and it still works! A Nikon One Touch with a 38-90mm zoom lens.
I think this might have been the one... I´m not sure of the name but it looked a lot like this only mint green :-D It must have been in the late 80´ies when I was around 10-12 years old. I loved it and wish I still had it :-)
My first "SLR" was this tiny Pentax110. I bought it for myself when I was 13. The camera takes 110 films which I have no idea if they still produce it or not. The camera is now 30 years old and is still in my bedroom!
I had some 110 camera as a kid, then an Argus C4 in high school. Upon graduation I received a Pentax K1000. In 1999 I went from a camcorder guy into the digital generation and have never looked back.
I know this is hilarious, but here is mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/86452432@N00/2783721489/ :))))))))))))))))))))
/I found an image of it in flickr, wow, it still exists/

This is the first "real" camera I learned on when I was a kid.
My first camera was a kodak 110 camera. Nothing special, but to me it was everything.
