Share a favourite from November!

December 3rd, 2024
For many of us things get awfully busy this time of year, and we don't always take a moment to catch our breath. Here is your excuse! Please look back over the photos you posted in November, and share a favourite or two here. It might be a subject that is meaningful to you, or a composition that worked out just right, or something you were brave enough to try for the first time. Do add a few words to tell us why you chose it.

My favourites from November are this American Tree Sparrow ready to launch, because I love the wing movement and my brother-in-law called it "Audubon worthy".

And this frosted leaf, just because I like the simplicity of it.

To share yours: Go to the photo you want to post. Underneath your photo is a curved arrow to the right. Click on the arrow and it will open a pop-up box with an "Embed Code". Copy the code then paste it in the comment box below, adding whatever comments you wish.

I'm looking forward to seeing your selections.

This couple at Durdle Door were definately making an Insta moment!

Rubbish photo of a fab subject. Sometimes trying to photograph them sort of spoils the moment. one day it will sit still for me.

Thank you so much for taking on the mantle of this thread Laura. .

I just like this one because I guess of the textures and the odd combination of feeling like it is reaching up but at the same time kind of closing in on you.

A moment of true (Instagram) love!
You got great movement in this. The ones here taunt me.
My pleasure.

@gardencat It’s incredibly striking.

This is probably my favorite:

I also really like this one, but it didn't get much traction here:

My favorite for November was the evening the sun came out after a couple of weeks of rain.

November wasn't a good photo month for me... I ended up with a lot of food photos, which is fine I guess but is not my favourite thing to do (just convenient)! I've picked a non-food one to share here. It's still an in-the-house photo, but it was kind of fun to set up and play with.

@lsquared The reflections in the first one are stunning! Interesting how the ones that appeal to us sometimes don’t resonate with others.

@shutterbug49 The wet road is magical.

@princessicajessica Fairytale perfect!
