Share a favourite from November

December 1st, 2025
Welcome to December! This is the time when 365-ers are invited to look over the last month, and share an image or two that are your favourites. This is intended as a reflective exercise, not a competition. So it's not the most perfect photo (though it can be) or the most popular photo (though it can be). Share the image(s) that you love, for whatever reason. Please do tell us why you chose the one(s) you did!

To share your images: Go to the photo you want to post. Underneath your photo is a curved arrow to the right. Click on the arrow and it will open a pop-up box with an "Embed Code". Copy the code then paste it in the comment box below, adding whatever comments you wish.

My two selections for November are both situations where I tried something I don't usually do.

This flat lay was part of the One Week Only challenge. Flat lays and still lifes are NOT my happy place, but I was really pleased with how this turned out.

I also tried out "moth photography", inspired by a photographer I follow on Instagram. Lots to learn about this but I enjoyed it.

So friends of 365, what were your favourites?

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Excellent compositions, both of them. Seems everything is long and tall in the Netherlands!

@allyc Beautiful reflections. Interesting to see the colour and b&w side-by-side.

@skipt07 So vibrant and ethereal!

@njmom3 Wonderful light and colours in both of these.

@merrelyn An excellent action capture. I love the tossed-up sand!

@vincent24 What an unusual find!

One from the main album and the visit to Sibum's Auto Parts (a junkyard going out of business due to retiring owners) and...

one from the second album revisiting my visit to Joan in September. An artistic edit of Owl Lighthouse- perhaps my favorite of all we've visited so far!
