Congratulations, Brad! Since seeing your photo, the honeycomb construction of Walk/Don't Walk signs has been slapping me in the face! Photography has me looking at things in a whole new way.
oooo I like this one... I learnt a lot from the RED theme and now looking forward to learning more about shutter speed and speed shots and panning.... niiiiice Congrats to you Brad!
A question has been asked on the camera date thread.
What dates do you consider for the weekly themes; the calandar date or something else? This is important to know because I for one don't set my camera date so the dates are in 1970. Others are finding the dates are not correct on the details for their pictures. Quite a few of us are intterested in what dates you look for. Thanks.
I think it's the picture's date... if you want to be selected for the top 5 final you have to take a picture during the week...
this is what Ross says: "Entries must have been taken and uploaded this week only! Entries outside of the date range will not be accepted. You can enter up to 7 entries (one for each day of the week)."
Yes, it has to state that it was taken this week in the EXIF data (viewable in the details) and then published this week too. That's why some excellent work by some great photographers never make the top five, because they weren't taken that week.
Helene and Vikdaddy, some programs like PSE6 remove the EXIF data if using "save for web" and it also has its own database if you have changed the date of the photo in the Organizer, it does not change the EXIF.
Glad I don't have to make the top five choice for this week. Good luck Ross.
Great choice of the theme )))
Interesting theme :)
