Oh my goodness, thank you to all that voted for my Galileo thermometer and congratulations to the other finalists. Thanks to The Crow @ariekraaijeveld for hosting the last mundane challenge of thermometers.
For the next challenge I would like you to capture the beauty of a SPATULA, that mundane object in the kitchen that is used for scraping out cake mixture or getting a fried egg out of the pan.
Use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday kitchen object. The main rule is that there can be no question that the object of the challenge is the star of your photograph!
You can enter as many times as you like, but your entry must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered a finalist. The competition begins today, Monday 3rd April, and will run through until 5pm(ish) GMT on Saturday 22nd April when I will have the honour of selecting the most flattering, unusual, original, beautiful or just plain nicest five photographs of a spatula that have been entered within the time span for you all to vote for.
