Here is the very last Word of the Month challenge of 2017. Wow! Next word of the month will have the digit ‘18’ in the tag. I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by! Thank you all for participating and making the 2017 year a truly fun and successful one.
This month’s theme comes from Ann H. LeFevre @olivetreeann who wrote, “It might be fun to do a list of opposites- after all, half of us are in summer mode while the other half is in winter.”
Thus Turn Around Thursdays was born to go with the very Christmas oriented themed month of December.
So without further ado, here is the latest edition of the Word of the Month. There were 12 members who made suggestions and I thank each of you for your continued support and participation. It makes my job of coordinating the list each month a true pleasure.
This challenge is a great place for those who occasionally lose their mojo and need ideas or inspiration. It is also a great challenge for those who want to go that extra nine yards to do a full month of words. The choice is yours!
Don't forget to tag your photos with dec17words so that we can all follow them.
Feel free to do one word, a few, or all of them. They can be done in any order you choose, or on the suggested day. Pop in daily, or just on occasion. This is your challenge, and your project. Until next month, enjoy!

Thanks for the nod Wendy! You are doing a great job with these monthly word lists. I don't always do them, but I've noticed that many people are really enjoying the creative aspects of them. I'll be popping in and out of the list this month since my days are quite busy right now- but I'll do my best to keep up with them!
@mittens Thank you, Marilyn for your faithful participation in this great challenge. So good to see when I am a slacker when it comes to this!
Merry Christmas!
@m2016
I really enjoy the 52 week challenge and thank you for doing it all year.
Hope you don't mind, Mel, but I am going to TRY to combine some of the 52 week challenge with these words to see if I can get some of both of them done.
Should be interesting!
@merawl
You are doing an awesome job keeping to B&W - it is really challenging; But that really forces a photographer to get back to basics when they cannot use colour to spice up a boring shot.
@henrir
Do you print off the list page at all? How does it go for you? I am just really curious since I had comments that I did not include one the first month I did this, and comments when I do not include the list in the discussion board.
Just wondering which way works for most people or does each get used?
Merry Christmas to you as well, Jackie! So good to see all your words - you are so creative!

The support and suggestions I get is wonderful - makes the job a breeze!
So good to see you participating in this, Joey. So sorry I did not include the word tree - next year for sure!

Thank you for the great idea. People seem to enjoy theme months so I really appreciate it when I get a great idea.
