BLACK AND WHITE CHALLENGE #22

December 19th, 2017
Such a responsibility to host a challenge. I can’t help being late.

Thinking about the theme is the most difficult part, then it comes to writing down the challenge topic… Luckily there’s an easy part, i.e. thanking you humbly for voting my “Lone Ranger”, it was unexpected and really made my day!

For the next Black and White challenge, I propose the theme: EDGE .

So: aim your camera to whatever defines your subject or separates it from the rest of the world (or of the frame…), and make that very moment of transition the subject of your photo. Play with light and backlight, contrast, bokeh, blur etc.

Sorry, you won’t find inspiration by tagging “edge” in google images, only thing coming out is a wrestler… Well, girls could find inspiration maybe ;-)

Here are the rules for the challenge, cut & pasted from the previous challenges:

1. Photos must be taken and posted within the timeframe of the challenge.
2. And all images must be black & white.

Please tag images: bw-22

If you embed your photos in this thread it will be easier for me to see them timely.

Challenge starts on December 20, 2017 and closes on January 6, 2018. We have some homework for the holidays!

Hope you will enjoy.

For the next hosts, here follows the list of previous topics (with the relevant tag if you want to look for them, I did it and it was fun!)
