Delighted to be carrying on the challenge here, following voting on #89 challenge. Well done to all the other competitors - and especially the others in Vikki's top picks - Peter @pcoulson, Caroline @carolineb7, Kali @kali66, Heidi, @transatlantic99. Look them out - some great covers!
Thank you too, to Vikki for running the challenge and passing the baton on. I am borrowing her inspiring words, to get you thinking about your entry for the next challenge.. ..
Now, you wonderful people of 365. Let's say you work for a promotional company. You have a great boss who rakes in the big money from those silly celebrities. Suddenly, you're hauled to a really large office, with big windows, a view of the city to the left and the ocean to the right. There's only one piece of furniture: a large table by those big windows. There's a note right in the middle, you pick it up and you realize it's from the big boss. It reads: "Do an album cover design for a big time band." Just the thing to perk up your credentials. You have two days to present your idea to the band itself and impress the big boss. You set to work. But first you need to find out the name of that band or artist and what you would call the album. Here's how:
1. THE BAND:
Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia and choose the link for "random article" on the top left side of the page. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your musician(s) or band.
2. THE ALBUM:
Go to http://www.quotationspage.com and choose "random quotes" from the left menus. Scroll down to the end of the page. The last 4 to 6 words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your album.
3. Next, find or take a photo of yours that fits the album name and artist(s). Album covers are square, so don't forget to crop it.
4. Then, use your favorite editing program to create your cover (or, if you don't have one, Ace members have free access to picmonkey.com -- and there are many other free programs out there). You can use any image of yours for the album, old or new, but you must use your own images and do all processing for the cover during the time frame of the challenge.
The reality of this challenge is that you actually have longer than two days to come up with an album cover design.
START: Monday, 5 February, 2018
END: Sunday, 25 February 2018 (all time zones considered)

All entries must be posted in your album between those dates. If you have any questions or need help getting started, just post to this thread.
In addition to tagging your image, please post your album to this thread, too, in order to keep this thread alive. That means it will show up on the discussion lists to the right of the home page. It also helps bring in more participants!
So, lets get going - this is the perfect go to option for those days when you didn't get out, inspiration walked out the door when you picked up your camera, you have a bank of images that you really want to use, but need something extra to contextualise them, or you just want some fun!
I look forward to seeing your entries.

Helen - I just noticed that closing date is tomorrow - and we are already having a re-vote for the challenge!!
It did catch me by surprise when I saw the vote but never really thought about it until I checked the Weekly SH*T list that has the ending dates of all challenges.

I shall suggest to the winner of the vote that entries be accepted in the next competition , from the date which I unfairly closed this one.
Again...so very sorry for my carelessness.
