Abstract - 6

February 27th, 2018
ok so lets get on with some more abstracts... borrowing from previous hosts the challenge has evolved these guidelines:

Abstract photography is based on the photographers eye. We're looking to capture something in a way that it would not usually be seen so that the subject is not easily recognisable . Looking for the details, the patterns, the lines, the form, shape and colors and utilizing those key features to make an engaging image.
The choice of subject is wide and all yours! You could choose a particular angle or close in on a part of it. You will need to consider factors such as what focal length and which exposure parameters would be best to realise your vision.. then frame and shoot! Simple!!

Other points to consider:

1. Remember that this is all about seeing abstract before you shoot.
2. To really challenge your eye you might consider SOOC but this is not compulsory.
3. Post production - edits such as colour saturation, contrast enhancements and black and white conversion are acceptable and can enhance your vision, and you might want to use analog tricks to achieve what you have in mind. However this particular challenge is not about using software filters to make your image abstract, there are other challenges for this kind of thing.
4. The shots should be taken within the time frame of the challenge
6 You can enter as many images as you like
7. As with other challenges the person who wins has the honour of hosting the next one

You have 2 weeks to complete this challenge: the images you show must be taken and uploaded between February 28 and March 15

Soon after I will choose finalists to be voted on. The winner gets the honor of hosting the next challenge!

please tag your shots: abstract-6

Please add your shots to this thread so others can appreciate and be inspired by them!

ENJOY!
