New technique challenge: #87 - obstructed view

August 25th, 2018
Thank you @emma78 for hosting the previous technique challenge and thanks to all of those who voted. Symmetry was an very inspiring topic!

Finding a new subject for this 87th technique challenge isn’t an easy task!! Going through the long list of previous topic, I thought about a topic that we selected in our local photo club, for one of our monthly photo city walk:

Obstructed view

This is basically when something is placed, intentionally or unintentionally, between your camera and the subject of your photo, which creates something special. It could be a window (dirty or wet), a curtain, a special filter, a strong shadow, a semi-open door, a person passing in front of you while your are taking a street or landscape photo. It could be also some elements (smoke, fog, umbrella, flying, birds, a hand, etc) hiding partially your subject or your scene.

Here is a few example, for inspiration
