Thanks to Sarah @sarahlth for starting the landscape challenge back in January, 2018 and inspiring us to go out to capture the natural beauty around us. It’s been a full year of landscape wonder and I am delighted to host this anniversary edition!
And a special thank you goes out to Paul @paul10 for hosting the latest landscape challenge as well as everyone who participated in it.
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture a landscape. You may enter as many times as you like, but your entry must be taken and posted within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist. The starting date will be today, January 10 and will run until Thursday, January 31st. This gives you three weekends, if you work during the week, to go out and capture the beauty of the landscape.
Landscape photography shows spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic according to Wikipedia. While landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature; it can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes found in urban settings. So please consider entering this challenge whether you live in a vast city or in the expansive wilds.
