*** Composite15 Challenge - "Sweet!" Deadline Extended to 4/1 - Give It A Try ***

March 19th, 2019
We have received some worthy entries for this composite challenge, begun February 4, but I would love to see some more creativity! If anyone is up for a challenge, please consider giving it a go.

After all, "sweet" is in fashion for any month of the year. :)

This challenge was scheduled to end on March 5.

New deadline = April 1. That leaves a willing participant another 2 weeks to give us a "sweet" composite creation.

Tag for the challenge: Composite15

To repeat the instructions:

A composite photograph is one that is made up of several photographs or pieces of photographs which have been merged or layered together. It can also include textures and effects that have been applied to the picture as well. Composite photography gives you a lot of room for creativity and ingenuity as you manufacture photos composed of elements that might not necessarily be found together in reality but somehow they seem completely at home with one another in the picture.

For our composite challenge here on 365 you must use at least one picture that is completely yours but you can blend in other images, such as stock images, if you so choose. Just keep in mind that should you use an image that is not yours it should be licensed as free to use for any purpose.

You are very welcome to enter as many times as you wish - the more the merrier! However, to allow me to showcase the work of as many 365ers as possible, only one entry from any contestant may be chosen as a finalist. If you do enter more than one image I would appreciate it if you could let me know which one is your favourite.

Thanks for considering and entering!

This may be a good time for me to learn how to layer. I have never done a composite - wish me luck as this computer nerd learns something new!

@rosiekerr I love doing composites. I’d like to go for this but I’m not sure what the “sweet” has to do with it.

@shutterbug49 The "sweet" is the suggested theme. Anything that reminds of you of "sweet." Ice cream, cookies, candy, a cute baby, adorable puppy, loved family member, familiar item, well-loved place, anything. Just use it in a composite and you are good to go. Creative ideas are welcome!
