I realize that it is now Friday in most of the world, but it is Thursday night where I am so I am still going to consider this a SH*T list!
The name is the acronym of the words 'So Happy It's Thursday', (SH*T). Just as everyone understands that TGIF stands for 'Thank Goodness It's Friday', Thursday's acronym is not quite as polite but very effective. This list is usually posted early Thursday morning (EST), but will occasionally get posted later if there is something going on in my life.
For those who are not sure what the challenges listed below are all about, just click on the link and it will bring you right to the original post that has all the rules and information needed to enter. I have also spelled the acronym of any challenges in full for further clarity.
While the Weekly SH*T list only lists the ending date of the current challenges, please go through the discussion board to find challenges to be voted on. Voting can be just as important as participation and is generally the most fun and exciting part of the challenges.
Don’t forget to hit the link to check out the details of any challenges you are considering in case I may have messed up the dates or such.
Many members of the 365 community have made annual challenge traditions that help us grow as photographers while having those also participating cheer us along. This is the sixth year that Richard Sayer @vignouse has invited us to join him with his NF-SOOC challenge (nifty-fifty or equivalent lens and Straight Out of the Camera). It really is not as complicated as it sounds!

Just wondering if you had considered moving these posts to the General section , there would be less clutter around it and make it easier to find, ..just a thought!

Yes - there is a ton of clutter under the Challenges and Discussions page, especially with people reminding members about challenges about to end.That is how the Weekly SH*T list cam about in the first place ... to make it easier for members to keep track of challenges.
But I do know that it gets buried pages back within days.
Ross @Scrivna - is it possible to get the weekly SH*T list onto your Weekly blog or giving Themes and Challenges its' own section rather than duplicating Hot Topics and Latest Discussions?
The Weekly SH*T List would still get buried quickly if it were put under General as Kali suggested although I will do this to see if it helps members find it more quickly.
