Congratulations to you, Caterina! I loved it but have a thing for straight lines so I would have liked it better a little adjusted. :) It is fabulous those...great POV!
@robz@taffy thank you very much. I really appreciate your comments and vote! @gardenfolk I know, the left side is still a little bombé despite having been corrected in. LR. More correction would have cut out the right side. There might be more powerful software for correction. In order to take the entire square of sky in, I had to use the wide angle of the iPhone (the 18mm of the Fuji was not enough, 27, I believe, when corrected for the crop factor) and lie down on the floor. Thank you for commenting!
@lsquared thank you Larry! It’s a big honour! Let me think about it today and before night I will try to come up with a theme. However I still don’t know if I should make the initial date today or when the previous one ended what do you think? @scrivner@taffy@robz@gardenfolk@farmreporter@kali
@caterina I say when you come up with the theme and post the next one is the start date. There are a few days to a week in-between challenges in my experience. Good luck!
Oh, Congrats on winning with this wonderful shot, Caterina! A very well deserved win!
As for the start date, I agree with CC. Take a few days to figure out what the next theme will be, then set up the challenge with the starting date as the day you set up the challenge.
It is really not possible to back date this challenge since it has a theme and members cannot take a photo of something they do not yet know.
Many of the challenges that are back dated are challenges that do not have a theme (such as Street, Eye of the Beholder, etc.)
Good luck and have fun as Host!! It is always so exciting and an honour to be host.
Hi Caterina - in answer to your question I tend to think that there is not much purpose in backdating the challenges that have a theme - it's pretty unlikely that someone would accidentally already have an image to suit. :)

By the way, there is a list of previous themes on the original bw-45 announcement, which I simply copied from bw-44. see here:
