Strange times we are living in. I have had to think very carefully about the next theme for the Macro challenge. Many of us are in some form of lockdown, or self isolation. Somewhere, we regularly used for our photography is now out of bounds. Some of us, can still get out to shop, or exercise, or you might have a garden to retreat into. Some will find they are stuck indoors for awhile.
So what could I chose that will let everybody take part in this new challenge.
Then it came to me.
For many people now, the mornings are not as rushed, no alarm ringing away, no throwing down a quick coffee, to jump into a car, bus or train to begin your daily commute.
So for this rounds theme I have chosen “Morning”.
What is the first thing you see in the morning ? Your partners ear, the alarm clock, a tube of tooth paste, a toothbrush, a bar of soap ? Maybe, a flower outside, as you throw open the curtains, a spider hiding in the corner? A coffee pot or cup ? A letter on the mat, a fresh pint of milk on the doorstep ?
This theme is open to your interpretation of what you see early in a "Morning" !!
I am sure all you wonderful folks out there will come up with some amazing ideas, so get snapping away !
