I am most shocked to have been voted the winner of the agricultural themed challenge- as I am really very much more of an indoor photographer! Thank you to all who took part in the challenge and the voting.
Landscape photography is more than taking the camera outside to capture an expanse of space. It is the art of capturing pictures of nature and the outdoors in a way that brings your viewer into the scene. It is with pleasure I launch the 40th landscape challenge and the theme for this round is CLOUDS. Early morning, late evening, night, day, soft and wispy, stormy, the options are, I hope, endless.

That is a great theme, who doesn’t love dramatic clouds. Unfortunately for me we are in the midst of a heat wave with nary a cloud in the sky for days now. But I’m quite certain some will roll off the ocean before August 8.
